Supermarine Spitfire

This was made as part of a college project called "Making Models". Its a scaled down model of a fighter jet called Supermarine Spitfire made using several layers of Sunboard and Metal Putty.
Process
First, I cut out templates for the basic body and wing shapes.
Using the templates, I cut out several pieces of the same shape and pasted them together.
Used a paper cutter to sculpt out the basic shape and then spent some time on the sanding machine to get a smooth finish.
Then, I hand sanded the finer details in the shape.
Assembled the model together.
Applied one layer of Metal putty to all the parts.
Wetsanded the
Painted the whole model with Acrylic Paints.
